We had 28 entries for our 6 Gamer Sunday
January 26. The qualifying was led by
Robert Mayo of Bakersfield who shot 1544
for 6 games (a 257 average). Rounding out
the top 5 were Kristin Warzinski of Lincoln
1460, Kevin Wix Sr. of Ceres 1448, Rich
Custer of Oakdale 1445 and Jim Gauthier
of Salida 1439.
In the first match you could see why Rich
Custer has been the high average at Yo-
semite Lanes for the past 3 seasons cause
he started striking a lot. Rich defeated Jim
Gauthier 289 to 225, then Rich defeated
Kevin Wix Sr. 268 to 236 in match #2.
In the 3rd match a couple solid 9 pins
keep things really close, but Rich struck
ount in the 10th frame to to defeat Kristin
Warzinski 228 to 226. The final match
ended with Rich over Robert Mayo 299 to
259. Rich Custer wins the first 6 Gamer of
2014 and $322.00 by bowling 1084 for his
4 stepladder games. Congratulations to
Rich and all the cashers.
