Storm Rock City Trio Winter 2012-2013
The 2012-2013 winter league has already completed a quarter of its season with its first position
round and a close race for the championship has already developed with only one point separating
the top two teams . Leading is the team of George Janak, Paul Giles, and Tom Ritter followed
closely by Mark Wright, Don Williams, and Alan Williams.
Tom Ritter rolled the league’s first 800 series on 10/18 with an 803 which included a 290 game.
High series for the ladies thus far is rose smith's 732 and 945 four game block. High four game
blocks for the men: Steve Spurlock's 1019, Mike Foreman's 1015, and Dick Baker's 1005.
The first two storm ball drawings of the season were won by Dorothy Randesi and Michael Jor-
dan. The next ball drawing is on 11/29.
The league bowls at 12 noon on Thursdays at Red Rock Lanes featuring senior 3 person teams
which bowl four game matches moving one pair of lanes to the right after the first 2 games. Handi-
cap is 90% of the difference of each matches two team averages. The 22 team league features
many of Las Vegas premier senior bowlers.

Solar Extreme “Fantastic”: Solar Extreme is getting to be the thing Saturday Nights. It starts at

Friday Night Frenzy: Friday Nights from 10:30pm till 1:00am looks to be great. It is suitable for all
ages. For one price you get unlimited bowling during the time period. If that is not enough, you also

and shoes, we’ll even throw in music and the same light show that you get for Solar Extreme, with
the over the lanes videos.
