Oakland A's Visit Earl Anthony's Dublin
Bowl For A Charity Fundraiser
The Oakland A's players and coaches had a fun-filled evening of bowling
and excitement! The A's Community Fund Bowling Bash took place
on
Saturday, August 3
at Earl Anthony's Dublin Bowl. Proceeds will benefit
the Oakland A's Community Fund. Teams of four paired with an A's team
captain and were dressed to impress with their own A's Bowling Bash bowling
shirt.
This family-friendly event offered an opportunity to bowl along with A's play-
ers who tried their hand at a strike on the bowling lanes. This festive evening
included dinner, hosted beverages, team and individual photos, fabulous gifts
and awards along with a silent auction and raffle.
This was an inaugural event for their Community Fund. The Oakland A’s
Community Fund supports charitable organizations in improving the quality of
life for people throughout the Bay Area. Specifically, the fund endeavors to
improve educational programs, aid the un-
derprivileged, assist in crime and drug pre-
vention, promote health awareness and
champion children and senior welfare.
The Community Fund believes in the need
to invest in the community’s future.
This year’s bowling bash attracted 275
participants.
