Winter league is now complete and summer league is underway. There is a few openings if you
want to join just give Diane a call.
In the week of March 23
rd
we had Ron Taylor with a 278/704, Bob Smith 234, Kathleen Lau-
tenschlager 247, and Brad Lillard with a 247 all in the Monday Senior A’s. In the B’s we had Linda
Gray with a 225, Jim Flores 202 and Rita Padilla 201. The Lucky Seniors had George Bauserman with
a 212, Danny Godoy 205 and Wayne Bundy with a 214. The Thursday Seniors A had Eric Etchison
with a 224, Frank Klo 267, Ron Taylor 255, Fred Campbell 244, and Bill Lautenschlager 290/707. In
the B’s we had Dan Halliday with a 209 and Jr. Buligon with a 233.
The week of March 30
th
in the Monday Seniors A’s Bill Lautenschlager rolled a 247, Brad Lillard 245,
Dee Price 257, Ron Taylor 268, Les Price 246 and Frank Klo 277. In the B’s we had Frank Garrison
with a 209, Steve Illum 242, and Jim Flores 229. George Bauserman rolled his 245 in the Lucky Sen-
iors. In the Thursday B’s is where Errol Crumpton posted his 247, Eric Etchison 249, Steve Edgerly
243, Les Price 248/730, Ralph Risso 253/727, Frank Hinojosa 244, and Frank Klo with games of 256,
256 and 288 for an 800 series. In the B’s we had Leo Rayray with a 205 and Chuck Hatler with a 232.
In the week of April 6
th
in the Monday Senior A’s we had Frank Klo with a 256, Brad Lillard 266/713,
Brada Penberthy 210, Eric Etchison 258, Kathleen Lautenschlager 247, Ron Taylor 254, Bill Lau-
tenschlager 257, and Tony Manrique 269/730. In the B’s Steve Illum rolled a 219 and Linda Gray a
221. The Lucky Seniors had Larry Ortiz with a 234 and Danny Godoy with a 246. The Thursday Senior
A’s had Lloyd Logan with a 203, Errol Crumpton 296/703, Eric Etchison 264, Bill Lautenschlager 247,
Stan Huey 216, Ralph Risso 242, John Peterson 225 and Frank Klo 290/729. In the Thursday B’s we
had Steve Stoffel with a 250, Jr Buligon with a 237 and Rutha Silva with a 215 game.

April 8th saw another 700 bowled, this time by Carl Dupins with a 246/703. Great job Carl. Seven
other SIRs had 600's also. Butch Bohannon at 268/646, Brent Soulis 227/607, Joe Chabot 214/607,
Art Tourtillott 226/614, Jim Graves 245/609, Bill Graham 224/618, and Bruce Jacobson 212/607. Good
scores were by Ski Dubrosky 202, Greg McAtee 213, Chuck Craig 200, Wayne Philpot 222, Cal Suan
206, Disco Johnson 202/576, Harold Williams 220, Dick Martegani 213/589, Lee Marshall 208/589, Bob
Brown 202, Jim Rice 205/570, Dick Coleman 200, and Bob Friend 213.
A 700 was rolled again on April 15th by Lee Marshall with a 269/705 score. WOW!! 600's were by
Butch Bohannon 231/669, Dick Krause 257/666, Chuck Craig 229/611, Gerald Law 211/607, and Joe
Chabot 223/636. Top Results were recorded by Ski Dubrosky 201, Merle Darling 235/584, Brent Soulis
214, Don Yarwood 205, Art Tourtillott 215/587, Larry Manwiller 210/599, Dick Martegani 201, Bill Gra-
ham 208, Dick Coleman 224, and Bob Friend 221/586.
April 22nd had 6-600's led by Ski Dubrosky with 258/628. Others were Butch Bohannon 235/621,
Dale Collette 237/606, Art Tourtillott 214/600, Lee Marshall 254/605, and Jim Boles 601. High scores
were by Merle Darling 202, Greg McAtee 214, Brent Soulis 211/594, Joe Chabot 202/586, Johnny But-
ler 202, Jerry Centabar 204, Larry Manwiller 210, Hartley Hermansen 211, Harold Williams 211/581,
Dick Martegani 207/570, Bill Graham 220, Bruce Jacobson 200, and Bill Stephens 211.
The final week of the regular season saw team #9 Panners square off against team #16 Gold Dust
(the 1st half winners) for the second half title. After 3 games the two teams were tied with 42 total
points won by each team in the half. This required a one game roll-off to determine the winners of the
half. The game went down to the last ball of the last frame and team #9 won 892-890. WOW!! Now
they roll off on May 6th for the league title.
Top score for April 29th was Dick Martegani with 257/667. Also over 600 were Joe Chabot 237/601,
Art Tourtillott 245/656, and Lee Marshall 224/601. Top results for the last week were Carl Dupins 209,
Dale Collette 211, Ski Dubrosky 231, Clark Hime 200/577, Merle Darling 212, Greg McAtee 226/586,
Brent Soulis 201, Don Yarwood 211, Gerald Law 222/585, Cal Suan 202/575, Larry Mustain 210/573,
Dick Gaspari 203, Bill Gomez 217, Jim Boles 202, and Bob Friend 209.
May 6th saw team #16 Gold Dust, Jim Boles, Bruce Jacobson, Bob Friend, and Bill Stephens beat
team #9, Johnny Butler, John Spisak, Dick Zschokke, and Jerry Centabar for the 2014-15 league cham-
pionship. Congratulations for a great year bowlers.
Four Bowlers Reach Milestones

Clinton Zavakos of Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, celebrated
his 61st USBC Open Championships appearance by toppling
his 100,000th pin on the tournament lanes May 2, while three
others joined the 50-Year Club.
Zavakos, a 78-year-old right-hander, entered the 2015 tourna-
ment at the El Paso Convention Center needing just 941 pins to
reach the plateau, and he got there with a nine-count in his final
frame of doubles.
He finished his 2015 tournament campaign with 527 in singles,
502 in team and 460 in doubles for a 1,489 all-events total. He
increased his career pinfall to 100,548 for a career average of
185.1.
Fran Eighme of Waterloo, Iowa, and Terry Brenneman of Do-
ver, Pennsylvania, joined the event's 50-Year Club on May 3,
and George Fisher of Des Moines, Iowa, added his name to the
50-year list May 5.
Eighme, a 70-year-old right-hander, got to share the experi-
ence with his son, Rich, who made his 30th tournament appear-
ance. Eighme finished with 522 in singles, 521 in doubles and
517 in team for a 1,560 all-events total and increased his career
pinfall to 86,935.
Brenneman, 68, shot 582 in doubles, 487 in singles and 480 in
team for a 1,549 all-events total. In 50 appearances, Brenne-
man has knocked down 80,584 pins.
