6 GAMER, SUNDAY - May 31st
We had 29 bowlers this past Sunday
April 26 for the monthly Yosemite Lanes
Scratch 6 Gamer bowled on the Yosem-
ite Lanes House Shot.
Don Mathey of Modesto with the help of
a 300 game qualified in the #2 shot by
shooting 1518 for his 6 qualifying games
(a 253 average). The only person to beat
Don in qualifying was PBA Regional and
past Modesto Masters Champion Greg-
ory Thompson Jr. who torched the lanes
with a 279-279-800 start and finished
with a 1568 for 6 games (a 261 average).
In the step ladder finals as the 2 seed
Don defeated Joe Petrovich of Tracy 213
to 173.
In the final match it was looking like a
290 to 279 finish until Gregory 'Greek
Churched' in the 9th clearing the way for
Don's victory 279 to 238. Don received
$308 for the win and a spot into the 2015
Tournament of Champions.

ers.
