The last few weeks in this league Ben Swope and Dennis Alvas has been at it again with
these great scores.
In week one Dennis Alvas posted a 209 and Ben Swope a 202. Week two Ben Swope
rolled a 257. Week 3 Ben posted a 246, and last but not least week four Ben Swope 218.
The scores listed here are just the highest scores in the league for this past month; don’t
forget to give all of your fellow bowlers a high five for their great games also rolled.

What a month of bowling! Scores were
through the roof here at Pacific Ave. Bowl.
In our Monday Mixed 5 league, Rob May-
field started off the night with a 289 game.
In the second game, he throws 11 in a row
for 299, so it looked like an 800 series was a
sure bet. Well, he did eventually shoot 800,
but good ol Rob had to make it interesting.
Rob rolls a 218 game to squeek out an 806
series. Way to go Rob! Oh, and by the
way,, this was Rob’s first 800 series.
Other big scores to note are Derek Peter-
sen 300/782, Matt Martinez 299/716, Ryan
Piper 299/801, Dave Bolles 300/709 and
Errol Crumpton with a 299 game that left the
last pin shaking. Nice scores guys.

January has already passed us by in this
New Year and Valentine’s Day is just
around the corner. Time just seems to fly
by but before it does take a few minutes to
remember these great scores that were
posted this last month.
Week number one Bob Grimm posted a
279 game in the Bourbon St. Mens. Ron
Copeland rolled a 284 709, Derek Petersen
280 716, and Rich Saculla 280 742 all in the
Thursday Mens Classic. Danny Jay rolled
his 289 in the His and Hers League on
Tuesday nights. Frank Quijalvo rolled a 289
in the Belles & Beaus, and Danny Lew a
280 738 in the T.N.B.A…
In week number two Bernie Devera
rolled his 300 718 in the Sunday Nite Mixed
4’s. Greg Caldwell posted a 279 725 in the
Budweiser/Chase Classic. Harry Fong
rolled his 300 715 in the Monday Junior
Adult. Marty Cherry has a 279 in the Mod
Squad. In the His & Hers we had Frank
Trevino with a 279 716 and Jeremy Lubin
279 763. Ryan Pati posted a 290 726 in the
Reno Mixed 4’s. John Padilla had a 279
727 and Tom Silvey a 279 763 in the Bour-
bon St. Mens. Scott Hansel rolled an 823
with games consisting of 289 278 and 256
in the Thursday Mens Classic. In the
T.N.B.A. is where we found Matthew Jack-
son rolling a 300 714.
Week number three Johnny Marshall
rolled a 279 729 in Saturday night Shooting
Stars. In the Thursday Mens Classic we
had Larry French 289 729, Travis Morris
279 727, and Ron Lubin 300 725. Carl
Petersen posted his 279 in the Belles &
