Bill Hazlett
Grapevine - Bill Hazlett passed
away early in the morning of Mon-
day, April 27th. He was diagnosed
with Stage 4 Lung Cancer in Janu-
ary, and battled many other health
obstacles during the last four
months. He was extremely brave
in the face of his own mortality,
and I will always keep that memory
with me. He was a wonderful fa-
ther to me, grandfather to Tori,
father-in-law to Genie and big
brother to Beth.
I’m proud and honored to have
spent 32 years with him. He had
an amazing relationship with the
entire bowling community and that
absolutely kept him going in the
years since my mother, Carol
passed.
Thanks to everyone who has reached out to us since his passing, it means the
world to us to know that support we have bowling friends and family.

Bowl For Freedom promotion to generate donations for Bowlers To Veterans Link
and drive traffic to Strike Ten Centers in May
ARLINGTON, Texas – To drive traffic to bowling centers over Memorial Day
weekend and raise donations for
BVL),
(STE) will give bowling fans a Free Bowling Game Coupon and make
a $.25 donation to BVL for every ―Like‖ received on the
age during the month of May.
The Bowl For Freedom promotion by Strike Ten, the bowling industry’s market-
ing arm and sponsorship activation division, is designed to build awareness of the
support the bowling industry provides America’s veteran and active duty service
men and women through BVL, a national nonprofit charity.
Starting May 1, bowling fans who visit the

Free Bowling Game Coupons can be redeemed at participating GoBowling.com
and Strike Ten centers during Memorial Day weekend.

media to virally build awareness of BVL and encourage bowling fans to support
this organization dedicated to helping those who have served our country,‖ ex-
