"Bel Mateo Bowl [has] been serving our community as a successful bowling alley for over 60 years and it's
something with the tech, the high tech that you see in the [Silicon] Valley and every place in California that this
business is so successful. I called and asked if I could get a lane one night and they said ‗Not a chance.' They're
booked all the time. What a successful business, family business and the whole team is here today. We're so
proud of them because they serve the community - family events, and a lot of great work they do for all of us in
the community - so we want to honor them and their great business in California." - Senator Jerry Hill
