November 11, 2012
It might be cold outside, but the bowlers here
at Pacific Avenue Bowl have caught on fire.
The amount of honor scores shot this last month
is down-right astonishing.
Let’s start in our Monday leagues. Ken Hill-
300 (2
nd
300
in 3 weeks) and Mike Smith 299.
Now we move on to Tuesday. Diana Lee has
been bowling here for years and everyone
knows her name. So, when she steps up to the
approach to attempt to roll her 12
th
strike in a
row, the whole center stops to watch her go for
her first 300 game. As all 10 pins fall, the entire
place cheers. Always a good thing to see!
Antoine Allmon and Joe Petrovich, also, added
perfection this month in impressive fashion.
Moving on to Wednesday, where Paul Dris-
coll, Danny Lew and Richard Acosta shot 300
games, wowing the crowd. On Thursday, we
had two 300 games, but even more impressive,
two 800 series. Harold Sohrweide shot 300 for
an 825 series and Kioni Sodaria, a 300 for an
804
series. Now, to finish out our days of the
week theme, we have Ken Hill. Ken shot 300
earlier in the month in our Monday night City
Mens league, but I guess he wasn’t finished.
Two weeks later, he added another 300 game
in our Friday Mixed Social league, to make it
three 300 games in as little as 5 weeks. Not
that’s impressive.
Don’t forget to like us on Facebook, for up-
dates on feel good series like these and other
upcoming events.
